Houston Humane Society still without power or water
My mom told me and is going to go today to donate.

The HHS is in desperate need of kitty litter, towels, and water for the animals.

The Houston Humane Society Continues to Recover from Hurricane Ike

The Houston Humane Society is continuing to accept all stray animals in need and donations from 9am-5pm.
The HHS is still without electricity and water and running entirely on generators.

3. My mom went yesterday
and said there were a lot of people donating goods, so that's good news. (She didn't go in to see the animals -- she can't foster any, so she knew she'd be heartbroken.)

I bought cat food yesterday at Petsmart and CAP was asking for donations as well. I bought them a big bag of kitten food and gave them the cash I had (which wasn't much).
