E-Slate machines that Don't work???? |
|
Any one that tells you that they can't build a voting machine that works.
Is a liar.
I'm a truck driver. You can't lie to me. All truck driver know better.
We have to buy fuel ever day for our trucks.
Money is like votes. They can be transferred electronically.
I have a fuel card. In order to get that fuel card to work. I have to enter the Right Place. Right date. Right time. Right truck number. Right license plate number. Right mileage. Right load number. Right driver I.D. Number. Right trailer Number. The right price of the fuel per gallon How many Gallons that I pump. And what it all cost. To the penny.
It's like having the number 1 With 36 digits behind it. If it is off by one digits. The computer kicks it out.
There are two million truck driver that buy their fuel the same way.
No mistakes here.
Not only is all this information transferred electronically.
I am also given three carbon copy of the same transaction.
When I look at the paper work. If it is off by one digit.
I can have the fuel clerk council out that transaction. And make it right.
Right then.
There is none of this. " Well it's in the computer now and we can't change it.
And there is none of this. We flip your vote or info on you fuel card at a later time. People go to jail for flipping info in the real world.
I can get up on the computer and go back ten years. And check out the same transaction. to see if any thing has change.
Millions of pennies. Are moved every day. And it all adds up to the penny.
No one more. Not one less. And they can't do the same thing with your votes? And now at this late date and time. A sad state of a fairs. You tell me that we still have. Registered voters list where eligible voters can be kicked off the list.
Voter machines that can't vote the way you tell them to. They flip your vote. They can't build a machine that can print out three carbon copy's of how you voted, and transfer electronically you voter info accurately.
All at the same time.
Try telling that to a truck driver. They do it ever day. Millions of time a day.
You don't have a right to question the accuracy of the machines. At the time that you voted? You don't have a right to correct the vote's info. If it's wrong. There is no way you to check and see how your vote was counted at a later date and or time. You don't have a right to a paper trail (A legal document). Physical evidence. That can be used in a court of law. At A later date.
Truck driver's fuel receipt are legal document. They have to be signed in black ink.
The same could be true with the paper trail of your voter Info.
Have a avenue of readdress.
It happens ever day in the real world.
If they are telling you that it can't be done.
Some body's blowing a lot of smoke up some body's ass.
If it's not simple to use. Truck driver couldn't do it.
If it's not cheap. Truck drivers couldn't afford it.
If it's not accurate. We can't use it.
If it's not tamper proof. Truck drivers will not use it.
Now go vote.
Yes we can.

1. None of this paperless electronic software is any good |
|
I agree with you on this Larry, that's why we have been fighting against these paperless electronic voting systems in Texas for years. I've been working against them in the Lege for 5 years already. The Texas Democratic Party sued and lost their case and it went to the Federal Appeals court where they lost again. The republican controlled courts are siding with the vendors not with the people.
A second case is still in the courts where David Van Os, The Texas Civil Rights Project, NAACP and myself are all litigants. That one has been in the courts since 2006, but Texas Attorney Greg Abbott keeps filing stalling tactic motions. We've been the courts 4 times to try to get the case simply heard.
We've been working in the legislature to ban the machines or force them to use paper ballots but the republican controlled elections committee keeps the bills bottled up in committee.
As long as they are winning you are never going to see a republican controlled legislature do anything to these damn machines and their vendors.

If you have a electronic voting machine.
They could post the vote count. up on the net.
A second by second count of how the vote is going.
You don't have to wait days for the count.
And this way is the count drops by 200,000 votes
Or goes up with in the blink of an eye. By 200,000 votes.
Then you will know that some thing is wrong. A few more thing that they could do is.
The transaction on the fuel card is given an Invoice Number".
Because there are three carbon copy's printed. All at the same time.
One is given to me. One goes to the state. One stays at the county.
This means that if one of those copy's is altered. There are two left to prove in a court of law that will show. Which one was transaction with.
There is nothing in the rule book that says that your name has to be on the paper work.
Your Voter I.D. Will tell you if the votes is yours or not.
If they keep a master record at the state level.
And a master record at the county level.
And you have you record. Your paper copy.
All three records can't be changed Un less it will shows up on the over all count.
If they let the master records. be shown to the public.
You can go the to the state or county boards of election. And check it for your self. OR you could go on line. And check it from your home.
Either you vote is there. And it right. Or it's not.
The adding machines make the vote come out even.
Not one more.
Not one less
This would put an end to Voter Fraud.
When ever you go to register for the first time. Bring you I.D.
Once you are on the list. Your name can not be removed for any reason. Other than death.
And even if you die. The state has to prove that it was you that died. And not some other person. Before they can remove your name off the list.
The law only requires you to register once.
Ones is enough.
It is illegal to destroy public records. The voters list is public record.
I get a cash advance every day off my card.
If I go to get my cask. And it not there. I will know it. Some body else got it. Not me.
Some body has to go to jail.
But if I take my cash off my cord.
I can't take it off twice. Only once.
If voting machines were like fuel cards.
No one could steal your vote. And it would prevent any body from voting twice.
I know that some people have houses in five different states.
They vote in each different state.
If voting machines were like fuel cards.
All of these five times voters would stop.
What we need is a county master voter list. A state master voters list. And a national master voters list.
This would put an end to voter Fraud. In America.
