Tarrant County DUers and the Inauguration Parties

Just wanted to inform you that there will be another Inauguration Party, in case you can't afford the $50-75 price of attending the TCDP's Inauguration Ball.

Please join us for an Inauguration bash, January 20, 6 pm – 9 pm, Rahr & Sons Brewery 701 Galveston Ft Worth, TX 76104, 817-810-9266. Sponsored by Rahr & Son's Brewery.

There is a $10 charge which includes a Rahr brewery commemorative pint glass with free beer provided by the brewery.

Local Bands, Big Screen replay of Inauguration, etc.

We will have for sale: Pizza by the slice, pictures with Obama (cut-out) to email your friends, T-shirts, Obama & Democratic memorabilia.

Any profits will go to the Tarrant County Democratic Party.

This is inside the Rahr brewery so you are welcome to bring a lawn chair.

Everyone is welcome but please RSVP by return email so that we can get a count for planning.

I really wanted to attend the Big Bash @ the Hilton Downtown, however, I don't have the funds to be a part of the celebration. I wrote our TCDP executive admin about how unfair it was leaving out so many less fortunate people who worked so hard for the Democratic Party being excluded from the Historical Celebration.

I never received a reply. Someone I know, spoke to him about me and was told there will be no free admissions and besides I worked on the Obama Campaign.:wtf:

Well excuse me, but I became a Precinct Chair for the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, not the Obama Party. I couldn't believe that he is still holding a grudge because I did not support Hillary Clinton during the primaries. I worked my butt off for the TCDP, and this is obviously how I'm viewed by the EA, not as a Democrat but as solely an Obama supporter.:grr:

I would like to air this out with our Chairman and find out what his take is on this issue. Because if he feels the same way about it, then I should resign my PC position. I guess this is the reason we had so many vacancies with Precinct Chairs.
