President Bush guilty of war crimes, says study
Musical rally, press conference slated to present findings, protest alleged crimes

(DALLAS) – “President Bush, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and other senior administration officials are accountable for war crimes,” says Publius Research Associates. “It is our professional opinion that there is no greater election issue.”

Publius Research Associates is a group of retired government professionals with expertise in psychology, international law, military intelligence, interrogation, and counterintelligence who are devoted to human rights and the elimination of torture.

Beginning with the release of the Abu Ghraib torture photographs, Publius Research Associates conducted an in-depth analysis of media reports, government document releases, and images from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal using their knowledge of the scientific research of the last fifty years on psychological and physical torture. Their study resulted in the interdisciplinary conclusion that there has been widespread use of premeditated and illegal torture of prisoners by the U.S. military and by other government agencies in their pursuit of the War on Terror.

Sunday, October 24, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., North Texas for Justice and Peace, the Dallas Peace Center, the Crawford Peace House, and Austin Against War will hold a musical and theatrical “War Crimes President” rally at Flagpole Hill Park in Dallas.

“Like many Americans, we at North Texas for Justice and Peace have watched with dismay, and even horror as the Bush administration has abandoned the mores and ideals traditionally embraced by Americans,” says Rusty Tomlinson, facilitator of North Texas for Justice and Peace. “Perhaps the greatest horror perpetrated by this administration is its promotion of its foreign policy through mass murder. It has started two wars, which have resulted in the deaths of unknown tens of thousands of innocents.”

A keynote speaker at the rally will be Kenneth Koym of Publius Research Associates. Mr. Koym will present their findings and call upon Congress to investigate the charges at a press conference at the rally at 2:30 p.m.

Other speakers include Gary R. Page, Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress, as well as representatives from veterans’ organizations and family members of active military personnel.

Live music for the rally will be provided by Summer Nash, Tania Ion, Jennifer Mansfield Peal, Kerol Harrod, The Ackermans, Rick Charles, The Sara Radle Band, Shanghai 5, Vertical, and DJ Tony Greene.

Those seeking more information on the War Crimes President rally may log onto the event Web site at http://ntcjp.home.comcast.net/archive/20041024.htm. Flagpole Hill Park is located north of the intersection of Northwest Highway and Buckner Boulevard in Dallas.
