Could mean the end of the challenge

Rep. Jack Stick (R-Austin) missed the 5PM deadline today to post a $5,000 bond required for his election challenge.

But they also said, that just meant that the challenge wasn't going to go through protocols i.e. a recount challenge. That's what the bond money was for. Still doesn't mean the House won't take it up in that committee looking into the challenges.

They had the weasel stick on the radio saying he never questioned how the votes were counted, only who was voting. Bullshit, he did too give our local registrar Dana Debeauvoir a lashing on how the votes were counted.

The link above at Quorum Report now says he sent the money and that it was postmarked by today, so the issue becomes did it have to be received in the clerk's office by 5:00 today?
