|
Dallas For Kerry - Campaign Kickoff Meeting International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union hall 7940 Northaven, Dallas (Just west of US 75 between Forest Lane and Royal Lane) Tursday, May 6 - 7:00pm
Regina Montoya Coggins is expected to deliver brief remarks, Bruce Rothstein will give a brief overview of the campaign, and they will spend most of the meeting in breakout sessions for different committees including field, events and fundraising, and media. This will be a great opportunity to get involved, so they're hoping to have a large and enthusiastic crowd in attendance.

Thursday is my remote day, and with one car, that'll make it much easier to get to.
I signed up at the march to help Kerry. I need to get over my Dean grief and start busting some ass!

3. Is this meeting free or part of a campaign fund-raising? |
|
I had talked with someone from the Dallas Kerry campaign that told me that day there was to be a (amount may be off) 2000 per person event. Verify whether this is it or not?

I've heard nothing about any cost to attend the Northaven meeting; that $2,000 figure sounds like the cost for attending a Kerry fundraiser where Kerry himself makes an appearance. Unless you hear otherwise from me or from DFK, this meeting is free and open to everyone.
