I flipped off the freepers at DuPont today
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 07:35 PM by opiate69
As any of you south-enders probably know, the freeway overpasses at Fort Lewis and DuPont have become rally points for "military supporters" since 9-11.. now, there's never been any partisan crap up there, really.. until now.. the last overpass before the Mounts Road exit is now sporting a huge "Bush/Cheney" banner, which of course reads "Nethercutt" on the back side... on my way home form work tonight, a couple of really frumpy looking "soccer-mom" types were up there on either side of the banner.. as I passed by, I flipped them off.. and I know they saw it because the sow on the left hung over the rail and put up 4 fingers... it felt so, well... good... normally not something I'd do, but I had just spent most of my afternoon listening to a bunch of retards calling talk radio shows advocating "wiping all those bastards out" because of the latest beheadings...fuck.. I want my country back.

3. Those fucking assholes should be arrested for endangering motorists!
They make a point of being on that damned overpass right at the time when the sun is right at that blinding level when it's difficult enough just to stay on the damned freeway without any additional distractions taking a driver's attention from the road.

They probably wouldn't even stop if a fucking fatality accident happenned right under that damn overpass. After all, if 1000 plus deaths in Iraq don't mean shit to them, why would one here? :grr:

4. what morans
people from our country, prosecuting an illegal war murdering and injuring tens of thousands, wrecked their country, terrorise the survivors, mistreat illegally seized Iraqi citizens, and what, some people are kidnapped and murdered by rebels-people rebelling against our actions toward and occupation of their country-quite a PUNY weapon against ours of mass destruction-and these assholes want to "wipe all those bastards out"-we already did. what fuckwits.

good on you and the one finger salute you gave those mentally deficient types, who don't have anything constructive to do. like jobs, apparently.

5. I flipped off some * supporters in Everett today.
It was on the corner of Rucker and 41st. There were two people on different corners of the intersection holding oversized Bush/Cheney signs. I probably would have ignored them but I had to sit at the light for several minutes waiting for it to turn green.

I guess I just let it get to me that anyone could support such a liar and coward.

6. They're still there
but not as many people as before. The big one in this area was the "Support the troops" type flag waving gathering on the Tillicum overpass by Camp Murray. Same thing....not seeing anywhere near the number of people as in the past.

7. What I've noticed is...
the people up at Tillicum, the ones who don't fly partisan banners, are there evey saturday, rain or shine. Them, I'll respect, since it's obvious they're not stumping for * (even though, odds are they do support him)... on the other hand, the assholes with the giant */Crashcart sign are out there during the week, unless it's raining... in any case, my one-finger salute has become something of a ritual now..especially since somebody wrote a letter to the Tribune claiming to have called the State Patrol on these asswipes, and the dispatcher told them "we know they're there.. we've gotten tons of calls, and what they're doing is illegal, but we don't have the manpower to do anything about it"

8. I was travelling I-5 returning from Portland last weekend.
Nearly all of the political posters I saw from Vancouver all the way to Pierce County along I-5 was mostly GOP signs. Makes me happy that I do not live in that area. I would go nuts!

9. Update....
On my way home this evening, there was a HUGE Kerry sign next to the * sign, and there were about twice as many people standing around it.

10. Couldn't bring myself to flip off a lone Bush supporter in the rain.. BUT.
I did the "L" for losers sign at him and smiled as I drove by. He was just pitiful, all by his lonesome in the rain. I felt sorry for him... but I HAD to do something. My husband laughed and told me I was wicked.. but in a good way!
