Wow, I just got a nasty email from Lou Pate...

I fell asleep the other night, and woke to hear him and his cohort carrying on a discussion about Marlon Brando. In the course of the discussion (I only listened for about 10 minutes)I distinctly heard him say Ty Cobb had died poor. I sent him an email to correct him, and he told me to "get my ears cleaned!" and that he had said no such thing. This is untrue, but anyway, is there any chance anyone else was up at 4:09 a.m. Monday morning and heard him?

BTW, his emails are as mean as he is on his show.

... It's really quite unbelieveable that he's somehow on a 50,000 watt station. It's hard to imagine anyone bringing less to the table than he brings. He literally brings nothing to the discussion.

It's quite sad for KIRO, really. Due to my work, I'm usually up during his show, but I turn it off as soon as I realize he's on. It's not that he's "conservative", but that he's not interesting, informative or entertaining AT ALL.

I'd rather listen to national sports radio reruns. Blah.
