Ray McGovern is a riveting speaker; 27 yrs of experience in
the CIA, now retired. The report released last week made him sick.

he was interviewed on WI pub radio on Tuesday. Here is the blurb on the same hour long interview

Saw him tonight at UW-Milwaukee. Large crowd, say 2-300 people-Peace Action is an impressive organization. Very moving talk.

Said decision to go to war made before spring of 2002; that the
CIA "war estimate" was an after thought/a response to a too-late (summer 2002)/lazy
request by Congress. This estimate took only 3 weeks and CIA
analysts were pressured to cook the results; after all the war was going to happen anyway.

He said "the next 4 months will be the most important in my
whole life".

Before his speech T shirts with just the text:

"November 2"

were passed out. Peace Action his to be careful not to do any
"electioneering" by law.
