By Elizabeth Putnam
For the Marshfield News-Herald

2. Yep, just saw it
this morning.....

evidently he's not afraid of being branded "carpetbagger"...which, of course, he is....he's just moving back to Wisconsin.

Reid has lived in Washington, D.C. for about four years. He worked for the political think tank, the Heritage Foundation, and is the press secretary for U.S. Rep. Jim Ryun, R-Kan.
Reid and his family are in the process of moving back to northwest Wisconsin, so he can run against Obey.

4. "Lifelong Member of the National Rifle Association"
Is that all it takes to be considered a viable candidate these days? A club membership in something? That's awesome... because I can join ridiculous clubs that do nothing to further a real important cause (just as the NRA does not) and consider myself set...

Now I was thinking... maybe joining the Milwaukee Brewers fan club would be a good start...

Hey! I bet anyone ine Alcoholics Anonymous is set to go too!

Just think of how qualified THAT candidate would be... :)

5. I hope he's written his concession speech.
He's got as much chance of winning as I do of marrying Drew Barrymore.
