Tornado in Stoughton was worse than reported
I talked to someone at work today who lives in Stoughton and she said that four more people have been found dead in their homes since the 18th and at least 4 children are missing. I haven't heard this on the local news- and I don't understand why not.

2. WOW, are you sure about that?
Our Town crew has been working down there, and they haven't said anything like that. They said at the end of today that there is still a TON of work left to do, but that there has been a lot of improvement in the last week. I'd be shocked to find that they could be working full days down there and not hear a thing about that - but you never know...

3. Can you get confirmation?
I know it sounds wierd but whenever there are catastrophes like this the rumors and stories float for days and weeks afterwards....I'd see if anybody else can confirm it...I don't think your associate was lying, I think they were probably repeating an unsubstantiated rumor...

I used to be a Red Cross Volunteer so I saw the rumors first hand and learned to take everything in stride until there was more than one confirmation.

4. I'll ask her again tomorrow for more info
She didn't volunteer as she has young children, but she said she heard all this from a friend who works for the Red Cross and was onsite.

5. The person who I spoke with confirmed that her friend saw
the body of a woman who died after being thrown into a nearby lake during the tornado. She said that its still a mess there, even with 1700 volunteers. She couldn't confirm anything else, but the media is being kept at bay.
