Whoa! Local Paper criticizes Bush* policies!

In his campaign for President, George Bush criticized President Clinton for not doing enough to lower gas prices when Wisconsin's gas prices were $1.34 a gallon. He promised he would use his contacts in the oil industry and with Saudi Arabia to lower the price of crude oil. But he has never delivered.
Since President Bush took the oath of office five years ago, gas prices in Wisconsin have doubled. And yet he has done nothing to address this issue. President Bush's failure on this issue has hurt every Wisconsin family and every Wisconsin business.
It is time for President Bush to show leadership on this issue. As a former oilman himself, President Bush is in a unique position to pressure the industry to lower its prices and stop gouging American consumers.
