Her usual Republican opponent in CD2 is Dave Magnum, a media guy who spouts the same old thing and loses. This year I saw that a new name, Dave Redick, had filed early. I was just looking up Peace Candidates.com and was SHOCKED to see that the Republican candidate for CD2 is a Peace candidate.

Take a look:

A 'Ron Paul Republican' for Wisconsin District 2

* Dave's campaign has no formal connection with the www.RonPaul2008.com campaign for President.

Dave's Jeffersonian-Conservative philosophy is the same as our Founding Fathers, and basically the same as Dr. Ron Paul, the Congressman from Texas who is running a highly successful campaign for president. Of course, Dave heartily endorses 'Paul for President'. If you like Ron, you will love Dave. Dave first ran for Congress as a 'Ron Paul Republican' in California in 1984. The success of Dr. Paul since he announced his campaign in MAR-07, and his stunning raising of over $4 million on Nov. 5, shows that 'the people' are disgusted with Party-First, war-based politics, and want honest leaders that use Nation-First thinking to stop war, foster job creation, and reduce inflation.

It is time for 'Post-Partisan' politics!

The campaign message is:

"Stop War, Retire Tammy, Hire Dave Cut Taxes & Spending, Keep & Create Jobs
Join Dave's Plan of Reform for Progress Vote for Dave to Start Reform"

http://www.forward-usa.org/

I haven't heard a word about him and I assumed he was just another conservative. A progressive supporting Hillary Clinton vs a libertarian should be a lot more interesting than usual.
