Who's going to Drinking LIberally Wed the 18th? |
|
I didn't see that this was posted so I'm going to take the liberty to do so. I want to go but my EXTREME social phobia means that I need to know that I'll know someone there. Who's up for it?
Tis time once again for Drinking Liberally to happen!
The When: 7 PM onward on Wednesday June 18.
The Where: Sugar Maple, 441 E. Lincoln Ave.
The Who: A classic rock band known best for their timeless classics "My Generation," "I Can't Explain," and "Tommy" (no relation to our favorite former governor).
The Why: Because no one's brought together Milwaukee's progressive-liberal community like this before!
Sugar Maple is cash only and smoke free. Bring your friends, plenty of cash, and please respect the neighbors if you got outside to smoke.
We'll see you there!
Jason & the Milwaukee DL crew.

Have to pick up Lelapin. She's coming back in from Chicago. Oh, and if I stop in, she'll be with me. :)

3. Thanks for posting this, I would have gone to the wrong place. |
|
I thought the venue was "Club Garibaldi," just over the Hoan Bridge from downtown.
I'll be there, unless something horrible happens in the next hour and three-quarters, or I can't figure out where 411 E. Lincoln is.

4. Club G was the old venue... |
|
411 E. Lincoln is just east of the "triangle" of KK, Lincoln, and Howell. Near Cafe Lulu, the old Schwartz Books, etc.
I'm on Kiddo Duty tonight, so everyone have one for me...:hi:

6. That's absolutely no excuse! |
|
you could have easily hopped on the freeway and made it :-P I didn't see Al but a good time was had by all. Let me know when you get back home and settled in, we should get together and do something before the next DL meetup.

Oy!
The part between Milwaukee and Fond du Lac-- what a mind trip. Repression anyone? Every other billboard was either for a sex toy shop, or a pro-life lecture.
Yes, let's hang out soon! I've been wanting to have some folks over, but with income it's been harder. Al's STILL WAITING to hear something from job #2. He got an e-mail the other day that they were just completing part #1 of the hiring process. :eyes:
