1. Yep--was bitten twice while out in full sunlight yesterday. |

I also finally made the call to a contractor--we're definitely going to screen in the front porch this year. Otherwise we'll have to stay inside the rest of the season. Citronella candles notwithstanding!

2. uck-- mosquitoes everywhere! |
|
Yup, we were cleaning out the apartment last night, getting ready to move and it must have made a lot of mosquitoes very happy. We spent the rest of the evening swatting mosquitoes. They were everywhere! My husband said he thought they washed downstream to Illinois but it is actually the eggs they said would wash downstream. So won't that be a nice summer for us in Illinois! Our small community in southern Illinois always sprays for mosquitoes about August, I bet they will start earlier this year if the population explodes there.

3. The mosquitoes are just awful right now- |
|
I spray all exposed skin with repellent before I take my dog for a walk in the woods. I even spray my arm and dab it on my face. Well, today 2 mosquitoes stung me on the part in my hair!
