3. Madison just is doing it right. The photos I have seen of this
rally from 2004 make me wildly jealous of the people who were able to attend it.

4. Part of me doubts that he will
He's up 10 points in my state at the moment. He might be better advised to put his time elsewhere that it might be needed more. Then again, he could definitely draw a crowd here. Especially if he gets The Boss to play at it like Kerry did.

Here's some more pics of what around 80,000 people on West Washington Ave looks like:

7. I was reading the Milwaukee Journel Sentinel Times Tribute Picayune today and they quoted 2 polls
One stating that McCain had the lead and the other stating that Obama had the lead. I hate that newspaper.

6. The last big Democratic presidential rally is always in Madison
There were 30,000 on the square for Gore in 2000. I have not heard anything announced yet but I would expect it to be the last week of October.

9. Madison Rally is Thursday October 23 on the Capitol Square
facing Martin Luther King Drive. This is not quite as much room as the four blocks out from the Capitol they gave Senator Kerry. Maybe its easier to protect him closer to the Square. No details yet, but last time the rally was at one pm and people started coming in the morning. I'm sure everyone in WI will get an email.

10. Nuts!
The 27th is my last day of work, then I have the rest of the week off. I was hoping our guy would be in town that last week of October. Unfortunate timing.

11. The Gore rally in 2000 was in the evening, so who knows-
maybe this will be an evening rally too and you'll be able to make it.

12. Yes!
They should give him West Washington Ave for Christ sake! The crowd will overwhelm the square!
