I understand a voter can register the day of voting with a government issued identity card and another form of i.d., like a bill. Am I correct? thanks

2. I registered and voted today

had to go to the city clerk's office in the town I'm in, but the whole process too about 10 minutes. My original registration application was mailed to Madison (per the WI website...) and hadn't shown up anywhere yet, so I took care of it today.
