I like to share this kind of stuff with my Dem friends. I think seeing this taking place across the state is very encouraging.

5. Here's an LTTE mentioning the rally/protet
Over 1,500 of our young men and women have given their lives for this endless war. More than 10,700 US soldiers have been wounded. Perhaps as many as 100,000 Iraqis have died. How can we comprehend the human cost of war, the suffering of the soldiers, the families of the soldiers, and of the people of Iraq? Do we remember that every person that makes up these statistics is someone's son or daughter?
How much is enough? We have allocated $150 billion that could have been used to provide much needed services to our own citizens. According to the Institute for Policy Studies, the estimated long-term cost of war to every US household is $3,415. $150 billion is enough money to provide health care for 27 million uninsured Americans, or housing vouchers for 23 million families, or 3 million new elementary teachers. Is $150 billion too much?
