5. I think it's a great idea
Like Howard Dean says, run a 50 state campaign. People won't vote for Dems if we don't come to their states. Write off No One!

6. Feingold
I agree with you 100%. I've always been bothered by this largely artificial red state/blue state dichotomy. When Dean said he wanted the vote of pick-up truck driving Southerners he was mocked by many people who misunderstood what he was saying. Every vote counts and we shouldn't concede any of them.

7. here's an article
GREENVILLE -- The last time U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold came to Greenville to play golf, he teed off the town.

The Wisconsin Democrat rumored to be considering a run on the 2008 Democratic presidential ticket returned Monday for another round at the Cambrian Ridge Golf Course. He'll travel to Montgomery today and Birmingham on Wednesday in an effort to sway the state to vote Democrat in the next presidential election.

In an article published on the Web site www.salon.com, Feingold had described the town as "the reddest spot on the whole map" and made references to check-cashing stores, trailer parks and "rundown" car lots.

In Feingold's opinion, Greenville represented the growing chasm between "red and blue" states in the country.
