Bush coming to Wisconsin July 14

Just heard on WPR that he will arrive in Milwaukee and take a bus trip to Fond du Lac on July 14. No further details were given. Another opportunity for free speech?

President Bush plans two stops in northeast Wisconsin during his bus tour next week. Action 2 News has learned more about President Bush's upcoming campaign trip to Wisconsin.

As we first reported last week, the Bush-Cheney campaign said the president will be in our area next Wednesday, July 14th. He'll attend an event in Waukesha County, then travel to Fond du Lac where he'll make a stop at noon.

The campaign also added a rally in Ashwaubenon.

3. Bush in Fondy the 14th - Rally

We are putting together a rally at the same time as Bush is in town.

It sounds like he is expected at 12:45.

We don't want a protest so much as a statement of the alternatives that the Democrats offer.

We want to keep it very positive, we need to turn some minds in Fondy.
