It's now official...
Edited on Wed Oct-01-08 04:51 PM by Bragi
Look at the current polls and the results of the last election. The Tories are even, the Libs are down 4 or 5 points, all of which has gone to the NDP and the Greens.

Unless something happens, the only question left is whether the splits will give Harper a majority, or just an increased minority.

But what now seems certain is that the vast majority of Canadians will continued to be governed by a party and PM that they don't like, and that don't really like them.

Isn't partisanship great? Sure is working for Steve.

1. We have got to fix this.
70% of the country doesn't want Harper, with or without a majority, yet we're going to get stuck with him anyway!

2. Actually, it isn't official until the election
Something might still happen (debates, etc). The vote splits might surprise people this time.

3. We shouldn't have to guess
and hope and pray and cross our fingers that some miracle is going to happen on election day.

4. That's because the Liberals are selfish and mentally deficient...
We should have had PR a decade ago; those of you insisting on a referendum can kiss my ass: I don't need permission from the Cult of Trudeau or the religious right for my vote to be counted fairly.

5. Well that attitude will help
immensely, I'm sure. I hope you enjoy 4 more years of Harper.
