Today, after months of anticipation, the iTunes Music Store Canada was revealed. It was announced at Apple's special music event in October that the Canadian music store would open in November. For the past few weeks, some iTMS users in Canada and across the globe reported seeing an error message when attempting to select any country in the iTMS- a similar situation experienced by many users before the launch of their own localized European stores in October. Although Apple said they would announce the Canadian music store in November, early today they confirmed that it had been delayed. The new store appears to be exclusively in English, contrary to rumors that it would feature both English and French versions. Each song sells for .99 Canadian dollars, equivalent to $.84 USD (as of current exchange rates at press time).
