Dr. Rafick-Pierre Sékaly -- who recently moved a large part of his immunology team from Montreal to Florida because of federal cuts to scientific funding in Canada -- led the study. He now serves as the scientific director for the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute in Tradition, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. That's where we reached him.
