Tornado warnings issued in southern Ontario
Tornado warnings were issued for a wide swath of southern Ontario Tuesday evening, as several severe storm systems swept across the region.

Residents of the Fergus area, near Guelph, Ontario, were sent scrambling for shelter at around 5 p.m. local time, following reports of a funnel cloud touching down in the area.

Environment Canada issued a tornado warning after they were contacted by the Ontario Provincial Police with a report of a twister down somewhere between Fergus and Orangeville.

Environment Canada officials said they were tracking also second likely tornado in nearby Georgetown.

(Wow, are there any Ontarians in these areas and, if so, is all well now?)

6. In Ontario..
We get really hot humid weather, and then a 'cold' front comes in, so occasionally it happens.

Rain has passed now, and it's actually pleasant outside.
