Soldiers head into danger
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 10:07 AM by Spazito

Members of an activation team are already on their way to Kandahar. The bulk of the 200 CFB Trenton and Kingston soldiers will leave Canada on Wednesday and Thursday.

(I read in another article I will try and find that said our troops will be under US command rather than our own.)

Edited to add: I found the article from the Toronto Star where it states our troops will be under US command:

"And for the time being at least, all 1,250 Canadians will be going back under the direct command of the U.S. military as part of the pacification campaign it calls Operation Enduring Freedom."
