Are Canadians dying because of "dangerous" drugs sold in your pharmacies? |
|
You know that I'm asking, because the Bush administration, and their many apologists keep insisting that prescription drugs manufactured in Canada are somehow unsafe, or inferior to drugs manufactured in the states. We have busload after busload of citizens traveling to Canada to buy your drugs, because you are able to use group buying power to get better prices. The Bush adminstration won't allow us to use group buying power in this country. Their love of the free market ends when it comes to prescription drugs. We now have individual states passing laws that allows their buyers to purchase drugs from Canada, but before I start taking any Canadian drugs, I want to be ABSOLUTELY sure that you aren't dropping like flies.

not on any meds though, so I don't know if that helps.
Frankly, I've never seen a pile of corpses in front of a drug store either.

and my brother's hair fell out, and my sister got a bit wrinkly, and my brother-in-law developed a bit of a beer gut which he calls his Molson Muscle.

5. The drugs aren't even all from Canada |
|
Drug companies have manufacturing plants all over the world. Many of the drugs purchased in Canada, are actually made in the US. We just pay a lot less, because the drug companies have to abide by our pricing restrictions. They still make a profit up here, they're just not gouging us.
I've never had any problem with any pharmaceuticals. I don't know of anyone else who has either. There was something about this on 60 minutes tonight.

My understanding of one of the disingenuous claims being made to justify this transparently crony-serving policy is that terrorists might actually try to contaminate prescription drugs from Canada. Given the victimization of the American public by ever-changing alert levels and the concommitant Stockholm Syndrome that seems to have gripped the victims of Tom Ridge's terrorization of gullible but otherwise decent Americans, it occurs to me that there are almost certainly those out there who would unquestioningly accept that explanation at face value. There's nothing like a little skepticism.

A few weeks back....crying to our health minister about how sick 'floridians' are getting from our drugs...what a total joke. The crap they feed you guys is unreal.
The only thing making this Canadian sick, is the Bushwacked regime! :puke:
