Tornado warning north of Toronto
Reports of building damage, no reports of injuries so far. This was on CTV News Net a few minutes ago. Stay safe everyone in that area!

5. They are relatively rare but we do have them
especially in the prairie provinces: Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba as they are the northern end of 'tornado alley'. I am not sure how rare they are in Ontario though, I thought it was but someone else may know more.

6. Well, I'm off work today
this week, this month?, this year?? or I'd have a closer perspective, but right now the sky to the north of me is that ugly green colour I saw on the prairies and the rumble of thunder is basically continuous.
