Canadian aid for victims of Katrina? |
|
I can't find much info about Canadian aid being offered. Does anyone have any links? I'm sure various charities are assisting, but our feds often seem to be a little slow in reacting to these types of events. I remember a similar delay after the Tsunami.

They were going to offer medical supplies from their emergency stockpile.
Someone else posted that the U.S. is denying aid from all foreign nations citing Katrina is an internal affair.

I'm sure it's no easy to co-ordinate these effort and that U.S. officials are dealing with offers of assistance from many different countries.
