CBC: Conrad Black charged with eight counts of fraud
Former media baron Conrad Black has been charged with eight counts of mail fraud and wire fraud for the alleged misappropriation of millions of dollars that belonged to shareholders of Hollinger International, the publishing giant he used to head.

In an 11-count indictment unsealed Thursday, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago charged Black and three other former executives of Hollinger International with two "alleged fraud schemes."

The indictment also names John Boultbee, a former executive vice-president of Hollinger International, Peter Atkinson, a former executive vice-president at Hollinger International, and Mark Kipnis, the former corporate counsel at Hollinger International.

Visualize "Lord" Black doing the perp walk...

1. Ain't it SWEEEET!
Fitzgerald is a one-man avenger, taking down the slimeballs one by one! To see Black charged is sweet revenge, indeed. I hope his 'Lordship' chokes on his lordship, lol.

3. M'Lord
The morass of trouble just keeps getting deeper for Conrad Black. Today, U-S Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald indicted the sinking media baron on charges of criminal fraud. The charges accuse him of looting his newspaper empire for his own personal gain. The indictment came about as a result of evidence given by Lord Black's former lieutenant, David Radler. Radler helped the prosecutor in exchange for a reduced sentence in connection with the charges.
