Does anybody think Karl Rove is helping the Tories? |

I am getting a funny feeling about your country's elections. I seriously wonder if Karl Rove and the Bushites are going to help Harper and Tories win the election over the Liberals. Bush is looking for more friends out there since his approval ratings are in the toilet. Not too mention with Canada's vast natural resources, you know Haliburton wants some of those resources to suppliment their already bulging wallets. I hope I am wrong. It didn't help matters much with the Liberals scandal problems. In my ideal world, the NDP would win and Layton would become PM IMHO. You know something is up when the U.S. Ambassador starts pricking his nose in the elections with his warning for politicians not to bad mouth America.
Am I making too much about this?

1. If that were the case, there is no way the U.S. ambassador to |
|
Canada would have opened his mouth and attacked Martin, Rove would know Canadians want tough talk from our PM and would applaud him for standing firm against the U.S. Rove is too busy trying to save his own ass and that of his protege to even think of Canada, imo.

Just like the Republicans in the U.S.A., the Conservatives all get the SAME talking points, almost at the same time, which are obviously dictated to them from above and which they repeat ad nauseum....Have you noticed this too?

3. I think Harper and the cons sound the same because they |
|
believe the same things and also lie alot just like the repubs down south. There is no doubt the bush cabal would like a change of government here as would the religious fundies who are more dangerous, in terms of interferance, than the bush cabal.
When I listen to any of the parties talking they ALL have their talking points down pat, it is just part of all political strategies, imo.
