OK.

Mad Cow-Girl - The Official Monster Raving Loony Party: Why not, good bet.

Gemma Dawn Garrett - Miss Great Britain Party: Ditto.

David Icke - No party listed: The What a Discredited Tosser Party might back him this time.

4. Here’s the website ...
http://www.miss-gb.co.uk/byelectionitem.asp?id=12

and these are the fearless champions of democracy who are promoting them

http://www.ianmonk.com/

Adds a touch of gravitas to these important exemplars of democracy in action, eh?

And some potential as coalition partners for a future Tory government.

Better put some bromide in Boris Johnson’s champers, though ….

3. David Icke
David Icke? The snooker commentator? I do suppose the miserable sport needs a kick up the arse but contesting a by-election to draw attention is a bit much by my reckoning.

8. They could get my vote for this:
If elected our candidate would like to see Abu Hamza sent to Ulster instead of the USA, so he can build a mosque next to Ian Paisley’s house, then they can rant at each other to their heart’s content.

10. I'm beginning to think that the Militant Elvis-ites might be more attractive and sane than some
of the other possibilities!

'Our candidate if elected will do his best to stop Ayatollah Brown terrorising Magna Carta, single mothers and the disabled.

.....

If elected our candidate would like to see Abu Hamza sent to Ulster instead of the USA, so he can build a mosque next to Ian Paisley’s house, then they can rant at each other to their heart’s content.'

Hmmm, both sound like good ideas!

And I like the poetry, especially 'Donald Rumsfeld had a war':

....

onald Rumsfeld had a war
E-I-E-I-O

And in that war there was a Blair
E-I-E-I-O

With a Blair - Blair here
And a Blair - Blair there
Butt licking, French kicking
Never trust a Blair - Blair....

Donald Rumsfeld had a war
E-I-E-I-O

And in that war there was a Bush
E-I-E-I-O

With a Bush - Bush here
And a Bush - Bush there
Vote robbing, draft dodging
Stick him in the Chain gang

Donald Rumsfeld had a war
E-I-E-I-O

And in that war there were some Lies
E-I-E-I-O

With some Lies - Lies here
And some Lies - Lies there
Big Lies, Wapping Lies
Everywhere Lies - Lies'....

9. I was recently reading Martin Bell's 'An Accidental MP'...
where he describes his victory over Neil Hamilton in Tatton. The Labour and LibDem parties had chosen not to put up candidates, but there were seven other independent candidates, of whome the most colourful was an eccentric seven-foot transvestite going by the name of Miss Moneypenny, who insisted on discussing silk underwear with Christine Hamilton while waiting for the count to be declared!

13. what David Davis actually achieved?
Powerful allies in Eliza Manningham Buller (ex MI5 chief), Lord Goldsmith (ex Attorney General), Lord Falconer (ex Lord Chancellor). Lord Stevens (ex Met chief), Lord Strathclyde (Tory leader in the Lords) etc etc.

I reckon a Tory leadership bid is imminent.

Bullingdon Club tossers David Cameron and Boris Johnson have sleepwalked their way into a nightmare of their own making.

A Tory general election win would need a radical pruning out of all Thatcher sycophants.

Davis has shown himself to be a pretty shrewd poker player.

He's also remained steadfastly mute about being awarded one of the country's top military decorations, circa 1991, no mention of which has ever been placed in the public domain - at his own request.

Publication of the accompanying citation could be one of the ultimate horrors for the Thatcher/Reagan-Bush1 era cabal that invented New Labour on the back of the Gulf War.
