3. I try to stay out
I suppose U.U.P. - I'd personally prefer N.I. to stay within the U.K., and most people there seem to want that too - having N.I. represented by the likes of the Rev'd Dr. Ian Paisley (:puke: ) and Gerry Adams strikes me as a bad thing.

The two moderate parties (S.D.L.P. U.U.P.) combining with non-sectarian groups (Alliance) strikes me as the only option which will produce a viable settlement.

Most of all, I think that the job of the British and Irish governments is to act as facilitators, and to assist the local population in making their own way forward.

4. The one Ulster party I actually like the look of...
...is the Alliance party.

I don't know about you lot, but I find Northern Ireland sectarianism to be just a little bit insane. Small wonder that so many here on the mainland tend to give the issue a wide berth.

5. There's some sectarianism on DU too...
...regarding Northern Ireland (especially in LBN, GD) and it's very unfortunate to see (I've been on the receiving-end of flame wars in GD just by not being pro-Sinn Fein)
