A Party Election Broadcast worth seeing? |
|
Yes, I know that sounds unbelievable. But how can you resist one that starts (Sandi Toskvig narrating): "Once upon a time there was a boy, who said there was a wolf in the forest. So Hans, the wolf hunter, went into the forest to look for the wolf. But, however hard he looked, he just couldn't find anything.
(Cut to boy in ministerial car, number plate "WMD 0"). "
Today's Liberal Democrat election broadcast, on after most news programmes.

than anything I have seen from Labour or the Tories. I wonder who wrote and produced them. The problem for all the parties is that, in the world of satellite TV, it is just too easy to turn over so I do not think the broadcasts have the same impact as they might have had in the past.

4. There has only ever been one watchable PPB |
|
That was on behalf of the Natural Law Party in 1992. I can clearly remember me and my Dad in hysterical laughter over that one!
