No-one got anything to say about Blair's speech? |
|
Thought the forum would have been humming.
Obviously everyone loved it as much as I did! :hurts:

2. Same old double talk BS |

He admits there were no wmds and then expects you to give him that there were plans and capabilities. He is pretty skilled at arguing and trying to get one over on his selected victim, but, as a professional salesman, I can see through him too clearly. With the overwhelming interest in the upcoming debates, Blair kinda takes hind tit.
I always liked him, but maybe I like vomit on my clothes, too. He seems to have a bright and agile mind, but I have an increasingly jaundiced view of him and his integrity.

3. Blair's speeches are now meaningless |
|
because we don't trust him, but he can still sound reasonable.
If he said the Pope was catholic, I'd want independent confirmation. Any promise he makes should be judged against topup university fees - if he says he won't do something, that apparently can mean he will, but it won't take effect until the next Parliament. Alternatively, if he says he will do something, then, like banning fox hunting, that can mean it won't happen for 9 years.

6. yes indeed it sums it up well. |

He's a liar. What's the point of listening? Bark Bark Bark Bark Bark Bark Bark.... I love dogs, but sometimes, they can be noisy. I read with interest Mr. Brown's speech, and i think he'll make an outstanding prime minister, despite what rupert murdoch thinks.
