Pictures of my 8 babies
Well, being TOTALLY untechnical, I've no idea as to how to go about posting actual photographs. So, I've had to choose these three pictures from somewhere else:

I have 4 of these. They're Owl Finches (Poephilia bichenovii, their Scientific name). They're tiny little things in person:

And I have 4 of these. They're Strawberry Finches (Amandava amandava, their Scientific name). They're VERY tiny little things in person:

Here's a close-up of the Strawberry Finches, because on the other picture, one is turned around:

I'm hoping they're going to do some breeding.

Me too. Have you ever kept any Finches? If not, then I'd recommend them, they're hardly any trouble to care for. I started out keeping Zebra Finches, and then I thought I'd have a go at keeping some of the more exotic Finches.

Owl Finches were first bred Australia/New Zealand way. Strawberry Finches were first bred in Asia.

They definately are beauties! :)

9. Yes, I used to have two pretty brown finches
that made the cutest little tweeping sounds.

Now we have a cat, though, so...

17. cool breeding can pay well as a hobby.
And you don't even have to report the profits to HM treasury as long
as its less than 7K and a "hobby", not a business line.
