Hope everyone up around Newcastle is enjoying the show..
Where I am, it's lightning about once every 4 or 5 seconds for the last 20 minutes or so, the sky has turned a bilious shade of green and it's about as dark as it should be at quarter to nine. Pretty scary stuff! I've honestly never seen lightning as frequent as this..

1. Have you ever had tornadoes in your part of the world?
Bilious green skies are a very ominous sign here in the U.S. midwest.

4. Mad one wasn't it
Sustained forked lightning all over, house lights popping on and off, literally.

Clear skies now anyway, no harm done and people are back outside. Didn't know you were round this area. :)

5. Fairly mild here. The Good Lord loves Ashington (yuk yuk)
... but Mrs. Skin and I were joking that the Green Sky reminded us of Twisters we'd seen back in Canny Old Kentucky ...

6. We had a few flashes down here too
Nothing so much fun as you by the sounds of it.

I love thunderstorms, windows open wide and Beethoven playing at a loud volume.
