1. what is the status?
What is the status of the recounts....does anyone know?

This is another reason I would support the public release of these bbv videos now. Make it impossible for the MSM to ignore this.

2. We keep talking about recounts..... What recount?
How/why are we asking for a recount? With the margin of loss, we don't really have a basis for recounting. Am I just missing something?

3. * is going to win officially by around 120,000 votes

Summary of provisional ballots count - UPDATED 12/2/04
Note: 84 of 88 counties have reported.

Current % of provisionals being counted: 79%

Current "additional" vote count:
Bush +57,203
Kerry +74,078

Please note that all of the counties had to have finalized their provisional count by 12/1, however many of these were finalized after their offices close. Therefore, we will probably not be able to access this information until early Dec. 2. It is very likely that the local newspapers may have this information before we are able to obtain it, and we suggest that you check their newspaper web sites as an alternative.

8. except they wont do a recount
the trigger margin for a recount is one quarter of one percent. a 120,000 margin is around 2%, 8 times above the recount trigger.

There are only 93,000 of these over votes. It's mathematically impossible for Kerry to win. You may see an independent media coalition condct a recount, but unless someone raises $1.5M to pay for it, it's not likely.

9. The Greens and The Libertarians are recounting Ohio.
Now that it's been certified they can recount.

You can volunteer to help.
