Something I heard today concerns me about recounts
When I spoke to Bev today about Volusia County she told me that the ballots themselves were questionable due to the fact that there was improper access to them by certain individuals who had keys to the vault they were kept in. Luckily, we have some proof to contest Volusia, but that's besides the point.

My worry is if something like this is happening in Ohio. I am sure that part of the rigging in Ohio was through a program that altered counts that was downloaded in the GEMS servers. However, who's to say that an election official couldn't just swap a bunch out by now in preparation for the recount? Does anyone have info on this?

1. Hmmm... as long as the recount comes out differently, it'll show fraud.n/t

2. but what if they changed the physical ballots by now to match the
totals they originally gave out? Could that have been what the lockdown was about?

I guess what I want to know is just where is the actual physical location of these ballots? Does anyone keep track?

3. Floating anxiety over Ohio voter fraud probabilities/certainties
You know, we're all going to become hypochondriacs about all
these unanswered voting fears. The only one I know so far who
can even begin to address these questions in the right
direction is Keith Olbermann. He at least knows who to ask.
The glaring absence are those who are supposed to be helping
us: state reps, congress and the senate. Not a peep out of
the people who should land on this issue!
There's nothing preventing the repubs from doing another
shameless heist in 2008! Nothing! Why aren't we outlawing
the machines and eye-on-the-prize scanners now!: what they're
(rep owned machines) asking us is like getting married and not
getting a license!

6. tbuddha I share your concern
Any dedicated, focused effort to commit fraud in this or any election would endeavor to make it "recount proof". How to do this? Swap out the real ballots with an alternate set that matches the electronically tampered-with results.

I don't think that this is so far outside the realm of possibility as some people think. If I were going to try to steal an election, this is exactly how I would do it.

8. Can'tGetFooledAgain?
We need to take practical steps. I am here because I want to know how we can make sure we don't get fooled again! We were fooled in 2000, 2004 (nothing happening yet) 2008 even more shameless! I've written more than a hundred letters to the house & senate. I think we need a national solution not a state-by-state solution. We need to get on it now. We are so brainwashed we're assuming Bush will be sworn in 1-20. Heeeello. With all this silence and word of some bogus recount, while the list of outrageous fraud is as long as your arm, it's like being suffocated with a pillow! Of course we'll be fooled again: we just were! Any ideas??????????????????????????
