The so called "RNC whistleblower"

In few words Schuster says "don't fall for it!"

8. Sums it all up - debunks this brad menfil
"The fact is, Brad Menfil, or whatever his/her real name is... is a self absorbed and sick punk. Menfil only seems to care about making an argument, not about proving one. There are some thoughtful discussions on the Net about the election "irregularities." Let's not allow those to get shoved aside or replaced because of quacks like this."

Why oh why do they pick up on the stories that seem easily debunkable?

(Correct link)

Thank you Raul.

http://hardblogger.msnbc.com . For some reason even though Raul's link is correct it redirects you back to the hardball main page when you try to use it. Odd.

9. Yeah
You can set up your Webserver to redirect all links that don't come from other pages on the site to your main page.

The work around is that not all browsers say what page referred them, so if you cut and paste the link into a new browser window, that will usually not be redirrected.

10. I am glad that he is still blogging on the topic
But debunking this report wasn't anything special.. I don't think anyone really had high hopes on Miflin report. I wish Shuster would concentrate on better things...

12. True
I agree. But I appreciate Shuster's efforts & getting stuff out there. And I kinda like that he debunked this if there's some hoax email going around!

11. Thanks
There are some thoughtful discussions and honest investigations into the troubling election "irregularities."

This was the only part of the article that impressed me.
why the hell is Mr Schuster calling attention to quack pots..
he should have posted the letter to Blackwell with the list of
REAL issues that must be addressed..
he should be talking about who counts the votes

It looks like he is trying to keep the Tin hats alive, his boss is
Republican Tweety who has been awfull about the vote issue ..
who are they kidding over there?

16. Yes, I think you're right, SueZhope, because if Schuster is saying,
<snip>
There are some thoughtful discussions and honest investigations into the troubling election "irregularities." <unsnip>

...then, why isn't he talking more about those, and mentioning the hoax briefly, instead of the other way around.

Or, maybe I'm just getting grumpy about this entire issue. Some comic relief would be good right now.

21. Hi Wordie
I don't not think your being grumpy..your being wise
I am also getting frustrated with this story its not easy
when the world is in fantasy land about this election

I think his blog would have been fine if it was just us reading his blog.
Most people have no clue the election was rigged
so it looks strange to new people reading that ......gives freepers
more ammunition

14. Darn. I was so very much hoping....
that those allegations would prove to be true.

But, in any case, I have always thought that most of the fraud occured in heavily democratic areas where it would be less likely to be noticed.

15. I thought he did fine
He dismissed the "Melfin" character completely and pointed out how people like "Melfin" do everyone a disservice by taking the focus away from the bona fide irregularities.

My interpretation is that he wants people to be aware of the tainted election and to ignore self-serving quacks who lead people down rabbit trails. I don't always agree with Mr. Shuster, but this time I think he was quite fair.

17. I actually think he did pretty good
he debunked the story in a good way without lumping all of us together with Melfin as a bunch of tin foil hat wearers before some of the other MSM got a hold of it and used it to discredit the people of the "internets".
I also like that he put irregularities in quotes, -I wonder why????
Hmmm maybe Keith's reports don't seem so bad now after all. Especially the ratings. :)
We should all email him and tell him what a good job he did -but that maybe next time he could cover something with some substance, and to do it on the show.

19. side note: something on KO
speaking of KO i read this on:
on http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/

Olbermann vs. Bev Harris: After learning from a correspondent that Obermann has heaped praise on the lying neocon Gerry Posner (and I wouldn't call a lawyer a liar in print unless I could prove the accusation), I've given up all hopes of seeing another worthwhile word from the MSNBC correspondent.

20. I here what you are saying
However I also think that if that was the case he should have
spent more time on the real issues like what's going on in Ohio
with the House Judiciary Committee letter to Blackwell

The average person will not be seeing that letter unless
the mainstream talks about it in detail . They read the DS blog
not knowing what most of us know and it gives them more quacks to
talk about note the facts on the Fraud.
