*IF* (and I still mean IF) Chimpy manages to maintain the fraud... |

.. and stay the Oval Office occupier.
- given the falling dollar. - the continued loss of jobs. - the general implosion of the economy - the growing war in Iraq - Iran - Korea - the rest of the world turning their back on the US - growing 'religions' government actions - the ineveatible draft (in what ever form it takes)
Will 2006 be the destruction of the Rethuglican party as it now stands? 2008? Is it time to start packing and head north?

1. If nothing changes about how we "elect" people it won't |
|
matter in 2006, 2008 or any other year for that matter. If the fraud is allowed to exist and continue...might want to pack up.

5. Elections are over in this country. |
|
2004 proved it. The machines will just be programmed to siphon off votes for republicans.
You have to stop thinking about this as a political issue. It is not...it has moved into criminal, and outright fascism. They have no intention of allowing dems to gain any power in DC. This has been in the works for years.

6. JEEZ RT there are enough bonafide criticisms of Bush |

Why post untruths, ie continued loss of jobs&draft, it weakens your entire argument, calls your credibility into question, and gives average people the legitimate claim that your full of cra@.

7. Continued loss of jobs is a fact |
|
the reinstatement of the draft will be fact if Bush is inaugurated. Everything is in place to start it. You better do some googling and reading if you think these are falsehoods.

the campaign knows why JK utilized this argument, it was a canard, and a pretty effective one i might add. Talk to your congressmean , he'll tell you it aint gonna happen, and i'll give you 100 to 1 odds right now. As far as the jobs go there avearging 175,000 increase per mon for for the last 12 months, influx of new potential employees into the market is ~ 140,000 so a net 35,000 increase. Sucks but it's not a decrease. Anyone up on the stats knows this and will make you look foolish if you claim there's been a decrease. Don't need to fabricate stuff when there is a plethora of ammunition we have against things that cannot legitimately be defended

8. Jobs are disappearing and the draft is inevitable |
|
Didn't you see the November job figures? We didn't come anywhere near keeping up with population growth and new claims were much higher than anticipated.
The various "stop loss" and extension processes being done to keep the occupation of Iraq from imploding are already a "draft" (just ask any family member of an improperly trained and badly equipped reservist in Iraq).
Charlie Levenson Portland, ORegon CLL2001@Gmail.com (phone # on request) ---- As Susan in Denver (pookysuz) says: Stay Calm, Committed, Cognitive, and Coherent! ---- If we allow this election to stand without a fight, and the media convinces the masses that it was "fair and trouble-free" then we will never have another honest election in our lifetimes in this country.

9. Speaking of job loss and the the draft |
|
The number posted for new jobs today was 'way below what had been hoped for. And there was yet another AP story about how thinly our service people are spread. Definitely not cr@p.
Anyone here in the reality-based community?
To paraphrase Jesse Jackson, I can deal with winning or losing. I won't put up with lies, theft or fraud. (All of which, by the way, violate one of those commandment thingys that "moral values voters" -- if they exist outside the RNC PR machine -- care about.
The icing: Hustler put an undercover reporter into the RNC convention. I think that will explode, oh, in about a day or so.
Also not cr@p.
