Could overseas US voters turn ballots in at Embassies? |

Better than relying on two post offices: Euro and American post offices. the Kerry children said many people in Europe did not get their ballots on time.

1. We were given that option |
|
I live in Kathmandu Nepal. We were given the option of handing our ballots into the Consulate to be delivered by the diplomatic pouch. Or, we could make our own arrangements.
The American Consulate here was VERY supportive in getting out the vote. They had two registration "parties" and commmunicated with us regularly.
On the other hand, I know quite a few people who did not receive their ballots in time. The Consulate offered an option to them that involved, in think, provisional ballots.
Namaste!
