5. well, I haven't done it
so I'd only be speculating. Unfortunately, some of it is illegal, or bordering on illegal.

GOOD forwarding campaigns can spread word fast, but it's often taken as nothing more than conspiracy theory or lore.

GOOD methods that are hard...

consistently repeat the same message
get others to consistently repeat the same message
repeat the same message again
put out press releases on the message
update info daily with new talking points about the message
repeat the same message.

Think of how "flip flopper" spread. It's the method above that worked.

9. something else that's helpful
a good image (remember the fireman and the 911 flag? or Elian in the closet and the soldier with the gun?) -- a good image is hard to forget.

and obviously, getting the image seen.

Did any media have pitures like that?

31. "We The People Do Not Concede"
Pictures of long lines is a good idea and also any close-up pictures of people standing in lines. Show frustration, weariness, people camped around in hallways... Could get a still of people in line from a video if quality good enough. Vote theft is not an easy topic to capture in pix, but I agree that we need to try.

--------------------------------
A SUGGESTION for a simple message to keep repeating (see amycrat message above) I like the slogan I saw somewhere: "We Do Not Concede" or maybe better to say:

"WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT CONCEDE" --could use for stickers, email messages, flyers, newspaper and magazine ads (which could give web addresses for info and orgs to join). I think this line would get instant recognition. Any opinions?

Wouldn't it be great to see those words on a billboard in Times Square...?!

8. But we need A LOT of people to know about it first...
for it to be effective enough to get MSM media attention. It's a catch 22, but I think if we think about it as a bussiness we may just break thruogh it.
What is marketing? Selling an idea, and that is what we have to do.
Sell this to the average american. That the why for the bussiness model.

11. and that has always made sense
whether you're selling a person, and idea or an product, you've gotta get people to buy it to be successful.

If enough people were repeating the same message (I think this is where protests are helpful, and mass letter-writing campaigns -- not FORM letters), the media will have no choice but to cover it. If THEY can sell it to the american people, with sexy images and catchy words, they WILL cover it.

Statistical analysis is great for a court of law, and essential to the whole cause, but it will get no where alone. Even Olbermann admit it. No journalist will read it, let-alone understand it without framing.

7. I've been researching AirAmerica
(Proudtobeadem you left the other thread while I was buzy?)
It seems they had a rockier start-up than I had imagined but,it also seems that they have it much more under control now.
The concept was born of a fellow named Sheldon Drobny, who, initially sold it to less than reliable people. In June, these people almost killed it in its infancy. Mr Drobny, along with a group of investors, the re-purchased it.
Mr. Drobny is an occasional contributor to Op-ed News and shortly after the election wrote a scathing article on the electronically fraudulent election.
Here's the link:
http://www.opednews.com/drobny_110904_election_investig...

This article is well worth the read regardless of potential result.

It seems to me that, if approached with a workable idea, he might be very open to the cause here in this thread.

Does anyone know how to come up with contact info for him?

Wiley

17. What happened to the big PR group that MOMCAT and some
others were putting together? We had all those Fraud Work Threads going. I thought they WERE already working on a PR strategy??? We are talking in the future here on this thread and some strategy for the future would entail buying enough shares to control not own a media company. Basically in many companies if you own more than 5 percent of the shares you can control the company. You don't have to own. How about getting some retirement fund to work with DU on buying shares of media companies?

Now more importantly what are we going to do to make the hearings in the house judiciary big news. They are handing us the event how do we capitalize on it? What if we had hundreds of people there each with video cameras taping it? What would we do with the tapes? A home movie Blair Witch Project kind of thing????

15. Business marketing
Some of the ways to market:

TV ads
Magazine ads
Radio ads
Yellow pages
Press releases
Newsletters
Telemarketing
Direct mail (letters, postcards, as well as more complex mailings)
Brochures
Flyers
Faxes
Referral programs
Word-of-mouth
Billboards

On-line:

Search engines
Newsletters
E-mail, targeted and non-targeted
Banner ads
Web site referrals
E-newsletters
Forums

I'm sure someone can add to this. As someone else said, a consistent, repeated message helps put the brand in top-of-mind awareness.

And of course, all this takes $$. But there are also a lot of creative ways people have come up with to market their businesses. The Guerilla Marketing books might be a good resource on this.

33. We need a slogan(s) short and to the point
Was your vote counted?
Did Bush actually win?
Election Fraud Nov 2, 2004
Election 2004 Hijacked from A-Z

Then link to a central website that seems non-partison.

I heard on this site taht 20% think Bush is illegitimate. Well, we should make that 80%. More and more people need to be aware of this. The problem is we need something to blow this wide open. Jesse Jackson is helping to create more awareness. We need a whistleblower. We need a recount done that shows a major skewing of the numbers. Meanwhile we must get the word out that this Election was stolen.

37. Google AdWords
see http://www.google.com/adwords.html
you can get paid links to your web pages when people enter search terms into google. you can pay as much as you want (say $1 a day) and point your ad to whatever web page you want - could be to this forum on DU or to your own website.

this is a small modest start, but realistic and with more hits to our websites, and linking our sites together better, we will be better placed to do the more ambitious things.

20. I'm thinking of taking over other billboards and signs
ever seen a white billboard, been sitting there for years with nothing on it? I'll bet it would take quite a while for someone to track down the owner and have something that was put up there removed.
I may be getting a little too old to climb billboards but I'll bet I can find similar places to paint messages onto.

27. yes, that would be why I'd do it at night.
Hey it's really minor when you consider that our maniac in office is out to destroy the world. I'd go for blank signs first-no real harm done. If i were younger I'd like to see myself actually up on the billboard putting up a message and acting like I was getting paid to do it if questioned. Like do it in broad daylight, right in front of them, as if I was suppose to be putting up the sign.
Hey if we could only make it cool, then maybe the gangs would paint stuff of trains for us too. Overpasses. You know< I'm kidding here, but things may get to where we might have to resort to a little underhandedness. We are out to save the world you know.
Besides if things keep up the way they are we will all be found guilty of treason for even being here saying negative crap about shrub. We should go for minor vandalism now to avoid that homeland security round up thats coming for us later.

25. Have you thought about contacting smaller news outlets?
I have been working with a few people, trying to send vote fraud information to reporters and news editors who rarely get emails about "tips."

We are using this webpage: http://www.50states.com/news/ because it lists all the small town newspapers, and you can find contacts for most of them.

I am not computer-savvy, but I am copying email addresses, and putting them on a Word document. I have Hotmail, which is not ideal for mass emailing. A friend send me a download for "getmsg" that I stored on my hard-drive.

Does anyone else want to help with this? If someone could suggest a quicker method, I would be grateful.

30. Pop-Up ads on major shopping and news sites + more
Catch all the holiday shoppers plus anyone who cares about the news.
Spam, too. There have to be commercial services that will do that for you.

Direct mail? Probably not enough time.

Flyer inserts in major newspapers. Or ads, if you can raise money.

Run an infomercial, Ross Perot-style.

Get people wearing sandwich boards to stand outside malls and pass out flyers.

Leaflet cars in malls, airports, colleges.

Billboard in Times Square? I would think anything up there would get talked about all over.
