Don't put all your eggs in one basket
This affidavit stuff is great, really great. However, I would suggest everyone include other evidences of irregularities when contacting the media or friends. The overall evidence is more impressive than a single example and if anything turns out to be false you don't want it to be the end of your credibility. Give your arguments a wide base so they don't fall!

regularjoe

P.S. You may be like me in that you compose more persuasive and substantive arguments when calm, instead of raging.

1. Not Sure Why This Thread Is Warranted In Any Way
We at DU are NOT stupid. None of us are taking this article and saying "Yayyyyy delete all that other stuff we got, this is alllllll we need now". Come on, it is one more thing to send on, but no one is putting just this one egg in their basket.

2. Hey, regularjoe. Good reminder. Don't get discouraged when
some contrarian gives you a hard time about why this post was needed. Some people have nothing better to do with their time than criticize others, rather than contributing something positive.

11. Not Trying To Discourage
Nor am I being Contrary. But I had yet to see a problem arise that we were at risk of leaving everything else behind merely to gather behind this story. I was merely setting the record straight, but I guess it can be good to remind everybody to always be optimistically cautious, I just maybe prefer it had been said with different words.

But alas, It's all good.

:hi:

8. Data on South Florida irregularities?
Does anyone have any data on South Florida vote irregularities for 2000, 2002, 2004? Any might show a tie-in to the affidavit.

I've been focusing on the FL data. Anything in particular you want to know?

13. Sorry for late response....
Well, if we can show any irregularities in S. FL that tie into the timeline of his affidavit, this could support his claims. I believe he said he created the demo SW in '98, which might mean that fraudulent SW might have been used 2000 - 2004. So we should look at pre-2000 data for South Florida and see if there were any sudden shifts during the 2000, 2002, 2004 elections.

14. How about Clinton getting more votes than Kerry
Edited on Mon Dec-06-04 06:37 PM by DoYouEverWonder
in the Dixiecrat Counties? In 1996 Clinton got 2,546,600 votes total in FL. In 2004, Kerry got 3,583,544 votes total. So even with a million more people voting DEM in this state, Kerry still got fewer votes than Clinton in just the Dixiecrat Counties? That seems very odd.

County Clinton/1996 Kerry/2004

Baker 2273 2180
Bradford 3356 3244
Gulf 2480 2407
Hardee 2417 2149
Holmes 2310 1810
Taylor 3583 3049
Union 1388 1251
Washington 2992 2912

Total 20799 19002

12. We have MANY baskets at this point.
There are many things going on in many quarters -- I want to support all of them, even if some (or most) turn out to be no good later on. Right now neither I nor anyone knows where the truth will be uncovered.

I'm sure the RW is floating some false info out there. So, we check it out. So people call us crazy conspiracy heads: is that any worse than BUSH for four years??

Thanks to all you people working on the voter fraud issue. Your work is what will save democracy in the long run -- I believe this.
