You wanna know what digusts me? The fact that the Democratic Party is trying to figure out 'where they went wrong', trying to change their agenda and approach to gear more toward 'the center'. The fact that it is being falsely presented that 'the Christian right' is becoming the most dominant voice as a 'result' of this 'election' is nauseating. They are doing all of this based on a LIE. Everything happening right now in politics should be the total opposite if this election really was supposed to be Kerry's win (which I believe it was, if not for the fraud and PATHETIC ATTEMPT TO ROB THE INTENT OF THE PEOPLE'S VOTE). We are being told the complete opposite of the truth.
THE REPUBLICANS SHOULD BE WONDERING WHERE THEY WENT WRONG, AND TRY TO PLAY MORE TO THE CENTER OR LEFT TO ALIGN WITH THE REAL MANDATE.
The more open-minded 'secular' (or at least those who are religious in some way but are tolerant of others')' majority of the country is the REAL VOICE TO BE HEARD. The one that unifies the people of the country that is America, and what it is supposed to stand for - UNITY=UNITED (States of America). Not division, especially not under one of the most painful lies I've ever been sold in my lifetime.
I honestly feel sorry, in a way, for those who believe everything they see on television news. They are being force-fed the biggest dose of BULLSHIT and the majority of them are buying it.
As everyone else here who is determined to see the truth about this election come to surface, I pray and hope and wish and put every fathomable ounce of faith into believing the election will be overturned - or if not, at least the truth will be indesputably disclosed - so that the world can see what 'The Mandate' REALLY is.

1. i've got the winning campaign issue: DEMOCRACY |
|
we need to fix our electoral process so that the people actually get to the polls, the polls actually extract the voter's intent, and the voter's intentions are actually counted.
but why work on this quietly, behind the scenes, "with" the system?
why not make 2006 a referendum on democracy itself?
cry far and wide about how "they" don't believe in democracy, "they" don't want to hear the peoples' voice, "they" don't want to know that WE are the real majority
now THAT will get people to the polls and give them something to vote for.
it's time to call the banana republicans what they are:
banana republicans.

2. No kidding. It's like blaming the person who was robbed. |
|
"You shouldn't be in the street."
"You shouldn't carry a wallet."
"What ya doin' carryin' all that money for anyway."
I mean, honestly, I don't secondguess myself if someone commits a crime against me. And I most definitely do not start wondering if I should be more like the criminal to make myself safer!

3. it's easy to be fed this bullshit |

when the leader of the party you voted for behaves in such a dismal and cowardly fashion, yes, I am talking about John Kerry.
I no longer doubt those who claimed Rove handpicked him to run against the Chimp. Kerry conceded so fast, all I could hear was Darth Vader's voice: "All too easy."

we have had differing opinions on this all along, we both know that.
but i do agree in that aspect - without Kerry making blunt statements in question of the election outcome himself, the majority of his supporters (unfortunately) may take his lead and assume the election was over and Bush won fairly.
No one is going to change the other's mind about John Kerry. He has about 2 or 3 weeks to step up and speak out. I know you are going to say 'don't count on it', but that's not going to change my mind right now :)
I also have no problem with you coming back in a few weeks and telling us all 'i told you so', if what you always say is true.

I also might have to eat my words, but nothing would give me more pleasure.
