I wrote a letter
Shortly after the election and before I was allowed on this site as a member. I met this congressman many years ago--even though he wasn't from my district...and I looked into his eyes and saw a good man and when I shook his hand, I liked the guy. When I wrote the email, I was told via the website that since I wasn't one of his constituents that I wouldn't receive a reply back. I have cut and pasted his email.(blacking out my personal info). I think this is good news today.

Dear xxxxx:

Thank you for your kind message regarding my work in Congress.
Your kind words really made my day! Thank you also for sharing
your concerns about voting irregularities in the Presidential
elections. I appreciate your input and share your concerns.

We must ensure that the voices of all voters are being heard. A
growing number of election reform and computer security experts
have rightfully raised serious concerns about the integrity of
electronic voting systems. The reliability of election results should
not be jeopardized by computer malfunction or other irregularities.

You will be pleased to learn that I am a sponsor of H.R. 2239, the
Voter Confidence and Increased Accessibility Act. H.R. 2239
would require that all voting machines produce an actual paper
record that voters can view to check the accuracy of their vote,
would require ballot recounts in some jurisdictions, and would
allow citizen appeals of those recounts. Unfortunately, more than a
year after the legislation was introduced and with the election
behind us, the House Republican Leadership has still refused to
permit this legislation to come before the House for consideration.
Rest assured I will remain mindful of your concerns should this
legislation be introduced in the challenging Congress beginning
next year.

Please keep me advised of any federal matters on which I may be
of assistance.

Sincerely,
Lloyd

1. Is this a repub saying that or democrat?
sounds like he wants to do something. Is HR 2239 thorough enough? Does it cover all the problems we've run across in this election? I somehow doubt it, but he had a better attitude than Isackson from Georgia, I deleted it from my email because it was so ignorant.
