Idea: Conyers could run demo of vote switching for C-SPAN camera
I'm posting this for IndyPriest:

I think it'd be unbelievably good for the country if Conyers would run a simple demo on how the vote could be hacked. Get a PC, an e-vote machine, and just do it. C-Span's cameras could be close in on the tabulation screen as the vote is switched from the PC with no one anywhere near the e-machine. It'd probably take less than 15 minutes. I think the room would explode, and the MSM would kill to get C-Span's tape of the demonstration.

JamBoi's comment: That same tactic worked brilliantly vs. MS, so could be a great idea.

But you think he would still have enough time to put something like that together?

Great Idea Jamboi

5. Hi IAMREALITY
I think everybody in the MSM and Congress that hasn't had their heads buried in the sand understand the vulnerability.

I think they lack the political will or strength to fix it.

The suggestion above would only be redundant.

We need to find out WHO KNEW WHAT....AND WHEN DID THEY KNOW IT.

The negligence is in the silence on this issue.

They all know about it.

10. For the people, not the congress
I'd bet 99% of the people of the country haven't clue about BBV. The point of the demo wouldn't be so much for the members of congress as for the country as a whole. Yes, Dean did this (down thread) and it was a terrific piece. Just on a small scale. C-Span is nationwide (tho cable), but a whole step toward getting the MSM in on this.

4. I like it!
Send the idea to Conyers. Will Pitt is supposed to be posting a link to a form that Conyeres put out for questions and suggestions.

6. Yes! Power Point Presentation indicating election fraud.
Please. I want to see a powerpoint presentation on C-Span concisely, succinctly and definitively describing the whole debacle from soup to nuts. It can be done in an hour's time.
Today's conference on the hill was ok, but hardly the homerun, the slam dunk that gets into the nightly news. Two weeks ago during the hearings on merck, the scentist who blew the whistle on vioxx names four other drugs. The one sentence alone, and I was listening to it live, was shocking since it concerned an asthma drug my son uses.

It was one of the lead stories in the paper and on the nightly news the next day.

13. I said something like this yesterday, but I went one further...
and suggested we get one of the machines with the update that registers Kerry votes for Bush.

Conyers: Touch Kerry,

Machine: check your vote...Bush

Conyers: No, really, I want Kerry.

Machine: You want...Bush?

This happened all over Florida in the gubernatorial elections in 2002, and again this year. It would be great to get that on video.
