Will the most extreme push too far? |
|
Lets look at the facts. The extremists now in full control of the House, Senate, Judiciary, and press will, without hesitation, spill blood to reach their political end. They have very likely committed flagrant election fraud. Three times. Eliminating our most precious freedoms and rights is in fact what they do best. Taking it to the next level won't be a stretch.
These are not Christians. These are genuinely godless and moral-less Fascists who are incapable of understanding and protecting what it took over two hundred and thirty years to acquire. They don't give a shit about our Constitution or any class beyond the elite.
Of course, we will try to reason with them and attempt civil discourse. But these are people who can't reason beyond their selfish greed and desire for unfettered power.
Personally, I'd gladly offer my life for my country if that's what it would take. And, I don't believe I'm deluded or blind or ignorant. I am a patriot holding his breath for the call. I am a patriot waiting for moderate Republicans to come to their senses and arrest the cancer growing within their party before it destroys everything we have ever known.
I want my country back.

the administration, not the civilian repugs. As long as the people are innocent, I have no beef with them. I have a major beef with Bullsh and company, but their base (the majority of their voters anyway) has been used and abused enough.

Some small business owners I know of were among the biggest * pushers in Ohio...they were sure that once * was reelected, business would boom. Now they are speechless at the reality that they will be closing their store soon just like a number of others in their town

9. There aren't nearly that many, but of course you know that |

That many people didn't vote for Junior. The vote counters did, machine or otherwise. And the ones who did vote for him are mostly just ignorant. The extremists are more often than not all mouth. They can be a nuisance, but little else. No, the ones to watch out for are those who sneak around and pretend to be something they're not. They lie and wheedle their way into places they don't belong. Know the type? Those are the ones to keep a close eye on. And we will.

Lives abroad must be filled with the despair that quiet desperation brings. I have never felt so close to all people as I do now.

8. I don't think many are really fascists. Liddy is an example, but few are |

that far gone. Unfortunately, the few have worked themselves into key positions. Therein lies the danger. We alienate the majority and drive them away (towards the right) if we're not clever about how we tackle this challenge. We need to find ways to be seen as the good guys. We should be the true patriots, fighting for Jeffersonian constitutional democracy. That's something many will agree with us on, including many conservatives.

and perhaps that is what we need to do: start an "Abused Former Bush Supporter Shelter" type of campaign. Get the right fired up complaining about their ex.
