WARREN COUNTY SPEAKS!...(kinda)..... |
|
Despite the increased security risk, no metal detectors were brought in. Police and a bomb-sniffing dog were present most of the night.http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20041208/NEWS01/412080402/1056/news01

1. "It won't happen again . . ." |
|
Hmmm, is this French for "We already "fixed" what we needed to fix so this won't be necessary again?" Why am I not surprised by this answer? Actually I didn't think the question was whether it would happen again but who was the "agent" and if he/she cannot be identified, why not?

2. This is as close as they get............. |

Emergency Services Director Frank Young told officials an FBI agent called the county a 10 out of 10 for a terrorist threat, though local and national FBI and Homeland Security officials have since said they were unaware of an increased threat.
It looks like Mr. Young should be questioned before the Conyers' Hearings, doesn't it?

3. Looks like Mr. Young is a liar and a thief |
|
He should be made to go before the committee and tell why he did it. Let him squirm in front of the world then throw his ass in jail.
Why are they treating this like a petty little mistake?

Because otherwise they will have to answer the "who exactly told you this again?" question and admit that the lockdown was a farce to hide vote manipulation.

5. The really odd thing about that shutdown |
|
is that someone on another blog I used to read was an elections official in an Ohio county and referred to several times being warned about possible terrorist threats and how to react on election day should something occur. That official is a Dem, however, and didn't think much of it. I wonder if it was a sort of code message between Blackwell's office and the counties to use whatever was necessary in order to... you know.
