What are we going to do about this stolen election? |
|
I mean it. This is serious. And even if we'd lost legitimately, half this country has told the other half that it can just go fuck itself. Even as I write this they're getting ready to gut Social Security.
A week where millions of Americans refuse to go to work?
No checks to the IRS in April?
A mass movement to hide soldiers so they can't get shipped to Iraq?
What are we going to do?
This bullshit needs to get taken care of.

1. Work to show evidence of election fraud! |
|
Just saying the election was stolen will not do it.
People must investigate election fraud, and point out what is going on.
Refuse to go to work? What are you smoking?

3. Spending as Little as I Can. |
|
Edited on Wed Dec-08-04 06:26 PM by Anakin Skywalker
Been doing it for years. It works over the long run. It requires patience, however. I love attrition warfare. I love hearing the @$$hole economists bitch and moan every few days about how consumers aren't spending. Duh! Have they ever stopped to wonder why? Freepy @$$holes!
I know what some will say. "Your boycott of the economy will only hurt workers". Well, firstly I don't have enough to spend on non-essentials anyway. Secondly, it is about an inner satisfaction with simple-living. (the materialistic rightwing christians will never understand this, but I get a sense of serenity and peace out of this). Finally, it is about EDUCATION. Outsourcers must be taught to understand that the workers they screw won't have jobs and that equates to not buying the cheap junks they are pimping. Is that such a hard lesson to grasp?

4. The good thing about the internet... |
|
Is we just have to agree on a few things.
1. A date.
2. An action.
3. A demand.
4. Follow-up plans if we don't get what we want, or if the powers that be renege on the agreement.
The elites of this country -- too chickenshit and lazy to live in a dynamic, dialectical republic where its citizens actually have the power to govern themselves -- have gone too far. Every year we don't give them the thrashing they so richly deserve is a year we lose more power.
We have plenty of time to think this through. As you see from the DU forums, once committed and honest people decide they're going to tackle a problem there's no hurdle they can't fly past. Just looked at the speed with which we picked apart this election!
