Open tools > Settings (Preferences) > Content > Media Types > Advanced > Other Media > and check "Real-Time Media streaming"

Go get a download manager program (NetTransport is ... awesome!) and then use that to download media files such as rtsp: (mms: etc)

If you download lots of media files, this is the program for you!

As for the Jeff Fisher portion- although his personality drives many of us nuts, there could be some credibility to his story, buried under his "dramatic demeanor". He is so determined and desperate to be listened to and although his hysteria can be discrediting in one respect, you've got to give him credit for not backing down. I say leave him in. He's part of the history we are watching unfold before our very eyes..

For the rest of the story on the public question that was cut short (see 2:27:30 on the streaming video), the entire declaration of intent is available at thedeanpeople.com. When stopped, i was prepared to skip to the last three paragraphs, but was prevented from doing even that.

I was able to read those paragraphs on Air America last night (Mike Malloy was talking about the hearings and how annoyed he was about the question that was cut short -- I called in and was put right through!)

If you want your Senators and congressperson to declare their intent, please take the time to Ask Them! Send requests with copies of the declaration via fax or email (turns out snail mail to them is delayed by inspection, so for snail mail it is better to use it as a follow up, or to send or even walk it in to the local office). While you're at it, you can ask Nancy Pelosi, the folks at the hearing, and any Senators you think are possibilities too.

33. Is there one last airing on C-SPAN?

If we could couple it with an airing time, and make an appeal to all our ungodly number of mailing lists for a deep penetration of the announcement, then that would likely get more of the not-so-computer savvy to watch.

But we need lead time -- it will need 24 hours minimum before the airing for it to propagate and sink in.

Jeez. Some of that sounded pretty freudian, didn't it. I guess it's past my bedtime.
